My (Mikami) HaircutYesterday was the day I got my hair cut short. If you're wondering how short, I'm talking Mikami short. Yeah, it's obvious; I got my hair cut short like Teru Mikami's (death note character). I convinced my mom to cut my hair like his. She was like "are you sure you want it cut that way?" I responded back with a yes. So she started cutting my hair, layer by layer, including my bangs. Snip, snip, the scissors went as my mom trimmed away. I wanted this to be a perfect haircut because it MUST look exactly like Mikami's. When she was finished, I looked in the mirror to make sure I looked like Mikami. It's not a bad haircut. My mom put in all the effort to make my haircut look like Mikami's. I've said it, I'm a total Mikami fangirl as mentioned in this journal (well sorta mentioned). I've been looking forward to cosplay as Mikami and sakujo the people I hate; starting with...JUSTIN BIEBER!

Anime FestI started writing my next manga, Anime Fest. Anime Fest is a hybird of Beerfest and Eurotrip. It take place mostly in Prague Czech Republic. It is about Otaku from the midwest who fly to Europe for a week and see all of Pragues sights and go to see the ballet, Swan Lake at the National Theatre. The lead character goes to see Georges Bizet's D'arlesiene at the Church of Saint Nicholas. They also drink the beer and absinthe, savour the food, and go shopping. On Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday they go to Anime Fest and do everything there that an Otaku does at an anime convetion. I decided to include a soundtrack including music by Akira Sun, Nightcore, Dansen, and Eiffel 65 as well as other musicians. I also decided to use colour instead of black and white like I normally do.
On the tour the sight that are going to be seen are Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, Pinkas Synagouge, The Exhibtion Palace, and Troja Palace. There will be other places to be seen there as well.

Im just asking....How many people think that anime is the same as a cartoons?
Im just asking coz people seem to get annoyed by this and im not really sure why?
I mean many people dont actually know what anime is so it is understandable.
People commonly say its like "pokemon, digimon or yugioh" coz everybody has seen these franchises
at least once in their lives...
I can say that I was the same, I had no idea that their was this whole different side
up til my sister showed me some anime pics on the internet (so decided to draw anime
for my JC which I got a B in HL art btw ;D) and I was quite surprised coz there was so
much more than just "pokemon, digimon or yugioh".
But I love learning more about anime everyday and I dont think I will ever say "I know everything about anime"
coz theres so much of it to know, but I dont mind coz its awesome! XD
So I guess you can say thanks to my sister I wouldn't have discovered anime and be drawing fanart of them,
(I would be drawing wolfs instead if she didn't show me

Hello everyone! I am happy to announce that we're going to start a contest for Destiny Fails Us!

The contest will have a main theme of Love, and should encompass an event(s) from Chapter 3 of DFU. And while some characters in this chapter are very happy with how things turned out, Love doesn't have to be pretty, it includes a variety of feelings - including but not limited to envy and disappointment... Use your imagination, and if you have any questions based on events during the chapter, or anything at all, please let me know.
